Rehab Information
There are a variety of different rehab programs that have been tailored to meet the individual needs of addicts from a range of lifestyles, with a range of needs and a range of addictions. From alcohol rehab to drug addiction rehab, inpatient and outpatient rehab programs are offered throughout the country to effectively help addicts overcome the physical and psychological strongholds of addiction and regain control of their lives.
Types of Rehab
Typically the two most common types of rehab include inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab. Both of these types of rehab provide very similar services and the primary difference between the two is the level of monitoring that is provided and where the addict sleeps at night. In an inpatient rehab program the individual will live at the rehab center for the duration of the treatment program and they will sleep at the facility each night whereas in an outpatient rehab program the addict attends treatment during normal business hours and is then sent home at the end of the day. Because of the lack of monitoring that is provided after hours in an outpatient rehab program this type of treatment will not work for everyone and relapse is likely.
Affordable Rehab Programs
There are many affordable rehab program options available including free rehab and low cost rehab. Many affordable rehab programs are offered on a sliding fee scale which means that the addict will only be required to pay a certain percentage of the cost of the rehab program based on their income. Most affordable rehab programs are subsidized by community organizations, churches or the government in an effort to make quality addiction treatment available to those who need it but may not be able to afford the high cost of a traditional rehab program.
Holistic Rehab
Holistic rehab programs provide a whole body approach to the treatment of drug or alcohol addiction. Individuals who seek help at a holistic rehab program can expect to receive treatment for their mind, body and spirit in an effort to heal the entire individual and not just the physical traumas of addiction. Most holistic rehab programs offer various alternative treatments and therapies such as meditation, yoga, acupuncture and massage as part of the recovery program.
Teen Rehab
Unfortunately, addiction does not take prejudice over an individual’s age. Addiction does not care if an individual is young or old and therefore there is a need for teen rehab. Teen rehab programs offer guidance, counseling, therapy and support for teens who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. These programs are specially tailored to meet the unique needs of teenagers and recognize the fact that teens require very different forms of treatment and therapy in order for the rehab program to be effective.
